Pick the clean your house needs

A house gets dirty in two ways. There is the everyday kind, crumbs on the counter and dust on the shelves, and a regular clean handles it. Then there is the slow kind, like grease on cabinet fronts and grime down in the grout. In the older houses around here, add the dust that packs along the tops of door frames and baseboards. A house that has gone a while usually needs a deep clean before a regular schedule makes sense.
